As indicated above in Astroverse you can have miners who are dedicated to extract different minerals automatically and continuously which have a value in $ASTRO, these miners go by rarity and depending on it the value of the extracted mineral is higher or lower.
The miners reach their maximum production every 24 hours and you as their operator must collect that production for them to start a new mining cycle. If after 24 hours you have not collected the production your miner will be paused until he collects what he had previously mined.
